[Mary (v.5)] gave birth to her first child, a son. She wrapped him snugly in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger, because there was no lodging available for them.
Today is the last Sunday before Christmas. The 4th Sunday of Advent. As Christians all around the world worship together, I meditate on this baby Jesus... Christ the King. He is my Savior, my friend. The one to whom I bring all my heartaches and longings. And He is worthy of our worship!
This, this is Christ the King,
Whom shepherds guard and angels sing:
Haste, haste to bring him laud,
The Babe, the Son of Mary!
