The amazing paradox of Christmas is that Jesus, born of the virgin Mary, is fully God and fully man at the same time. In the popular worship song, "How he loves" – sung by the David Crowder Band, the second verse states:
Heaven meets earth like an unforeseen kiss,
And oh, how He loves us so, Oh how He loves us, How He loves us all
This truth of God becoming fully man is described in John 1:14 (NLT)
So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of
unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the
Father’s one and only Son.
